Oceanview Sushi has now been in biz for 15 years.We have had the best experience hosted by owner, Faith, and her talented staff. Since relocating to FL., we have missed it and not found sushi better than here. Thx for the hospitality yesterday, amazing Yummy and Angel rolls and rainbow tartar. Discovered Ocean View Sushi a little over a year ago and it has become my favorite sushi place on the Jersey shore. This is my go to comfort food spot, and they even made a lettuce-wrap sushi roll special made for my mom one time! The owner is very nice and works very hard. They do get very busy in the summer sometimes, rightfully so. Still underrated!! My favorite roll is the American Dream.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Faith and the rest of the staff are awesome. The food is fresh and they have some unique rolls. Lunch, dinner, or take out you can’t go wrong!! Enjoy :)

Stopped here for lunch while on a week vacation down by the shore. We ordered a couple of sushi plates and a fried rice. The quality of the sushi was excellent. The fried rice cooked to perfection. The service/management was pleasant and accommodating. We noticed that a few lone diners (as well as groups) had stopped in for lunch. It looked like they were working and took their lunch break here. So it’s a place to eat for locals and travelers. That tells you something. The prices considering the quality you get are pretty good.

We eat sushi quite a bit as a family. We know what we like, and we know when it's quality, fresh sushi. The owner recognized that's we were not familiar with her menu, and helped us pick out a few things that were in line with our taste. So how was the food? The tempura was light, not greasy, and fresh. Very authentic taste! We had multiple special rolls, and the Aki was probably the favorite. However, the Dragon was spectacular as well. Every roll was well prepared, not too heavy on rice, and high quality fresh fish. They also seem to lean more on asparagus to enhance their special rolls, which adds texture and flavor. We also had the soba, which was very well prepared. The broth was light and fresh. It did not feel over salted or like it came from a packet! Finally, we only spent so much because we went for more after our "initial round". The value is very good and worth it if you are looking for a reasonable sushi meal with fresh, new takes on rolls, this is a great option.
First time going, I’m used to hibachi place and I generally like it, but this place is the best sushi place I’ve been to. Food came out fast. Lady was nice 10/10 will be back and I’ll be telling my friends about this place
